Creating an event on MoiliiliMatters.com is a great way to inform
others of events in our community. After posting an event on
MoiliiliMatters.com you can use the events page to invite both
members of MoiliiliMatters.com and non-members. The RSVP option
allows you, as an event organizer, to get some idea as to who may
be attending your event. Members are encouraged to use Moiliili
Matters to promote their events or events they are aware of to the
site and using it to invite people.
Step 1: After logging onto the site, look up to the colored
tool bar and CLICK on the word "EVENTS".
Step 2: Now, click on the words "+ Add an Event" which is
now slightly below the word "EVENTS".
Step 3: Once you have clicked on "+ Add an Event," you can
now add the name of your event in the "Name" field.
Step 4: Then, you can provide an image for your event. Click
on the camera and then select "Upload an image from your computer"
if you want to add a image. Select your image from the file you
have your image stored in. When you are finished, click on
"Done."
Step 5: After providing all the relevant information, then
click on "Add Event."
Step 6: After you have created your event on the website,
you have the option of inviting other people to your event. You may
choose to invite people from your site "friends list" or you may
invite people not a member of our community site to attend the
event by including their e-mail address. These non-member invited
guests will have an opportunity to become members of this site.
