HOW TO INSTRUCTIONS
In the last e-Newsletter, the "How To" section focused on adding a photo to your profile page. This month, our focus is on inviting others to join Mōʻiliʻili Matters. CLICK HERE to find out why inviting people to join is important and to learn how you can invite family and friends to the site.

CITY COUNCIL DISTRICT 5 CANDIDATES
Weʻre proud to announce that Mōʻiliʻili Matters is the host of four of the 14 candidates for the District 5 City Council seat. The District 5 seat became vacant as a result of the unfortunate and untimely death of Dr. Duke Bainum. The four candidates who became members are:

MICHAEL JACKSON MURAL - YOUR INPUT IS NEEDED
Ron Lockwood, chairman of the McCully-Mōʻiliʻili Neighborhood Board, is asking for your opinion about the Kokua Market mural. CLICK HERE to read the forum discussion. We highly encourage you to share your thoughts.

NEW MEMBERS
At the time of last monthʻs e-Newsletter, we had about 40 people on MoiliiliMatters.com. Today we have 71 people or "neighbors" as the site refers to them. Steady growth, rather than explosive growth, helps to ensure that no servers crash. I would however like to encourage you to personally invite another neighbor.

DISCUSSION FORUMS
The discussion forum component of the site is seeing more activity. As mentioned above Ron Lockwood started a discussion on the Kokua Market Mural. Jason Aung started a discussion on the future "eviction" of Lessees near Laau and Date Street.

BLOGS
Greg Cuadra, Neighborhood Board member, has written two separate blog entries. One focuses on the recent District 5 candidate forum. The other focuses on street sweeping in the area.

Until Next Month. Take care.
