What is one thing you like about Mō‘ili‘ili?
The close knit relationship it's residents have when it comes to livelihood, business, and safety. Mo'ili'ili is one of the few neighborhoods of urban Honolulu that retain it's unique character despite the constant change in development and population growth. These qualities are what I admire the most.
What is one thing you would change about Mō‘ili‘ili?
The tempered growth factor and the way outside investors and business owners maintain their interests in the Mo'ili'ili community. A continuous reminder to them that they have a vested interest in people and their way of life needs to be maintained.

Aloha Mai Kakou!

I've served the airline industry for the past ten years as a flight attendant for Northwest Airlines and now with merger partner, Delta Air Lines. I'm a member of the Young Democrats of Hawaii caucus.

I was born and raised in Wahiawa and Kaimuki, now making Kapahulu my home. As a proud recipient of Oahu’s public education system, I attended Leilehua High School and the University of Hawaii system, gaining valuable experience in policy-making & action where I was first elected to the ASUH Senate in 1994.

I'm a member of the Association of Flight Attendants union (AFL-CIO) and have been a supporter and volunteer of community outreach programs and services of the Life Foundation, Gregory House Programs, Aloha United Way as well as a past member of the Hawaii Collegiate Jaycees.

I usually spend free time with family and friends, traveling to far-flung destinations when the opportunity arises and enjoying a good sci-fi novel.

I believe that if we build upon the strengths and wisdom of the past, we can create a sustainable island home for future generations.

Aloha e Keolu,

Welcome to Mōʻiliʻili Matters and Mahalo nui for joining. I believe youʻre the fourth city council candidate to join, which is definitely a great thing since the site is designed to bring our community closer together. Weʻve also got two elected officials at the state level, Rep. Saiki and Senator Taniguchi on here too.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you with the site.
