My 2 pennies, I think it looks like grafitti and I don't understand the connection between Mo'ili'ili and Michael Jackson - Elvis Presley has more of connection than MJ. My suggestion, something more along the lines of this: http://the.honoluluadve

What is one thing you like about Mō‘ili‘ili?
I love Mo'ili'ili's unique character - the underrated restaurants, the flower shops that have been there forever, local organic food stores, and even the surf shop is owned by my neighbor.
What is one thing you would change about Mō‘ili‘ili?
There a lot of things that could be improved. My dad takes a lot of pride in our community and I truly believe he will do all he can to improve our neighborhood. But personally, I do notice more and more homeless each time I return home from school. The graffitti is disappointing and the bulky items that line the street is ashame.
Occupation
Vermont Law student grad. who needs a job.

Maryknoll High School, University of Hawaii - Manoa, Hawaii State Senate, Hawaiian Humane Society, Na Ala Hele, Pac-Five, Niketown Running Group

Introduce yourself!
May 2010 I graduated from Vermont Law School. I am currently emersed in bar exam studies, preparing for the HI bar exam on July 27th-28th.
I have worked at the NCAA in Indianapolis as well as for the University of Hawaii Athletic Dept. working on issues such as Title IX/gender equity, compliance, drug testing and NCAA certification. These are the issues I am passionate about and that I hope to cultivate a career, in particular gender equity/civil rights -Patsy Mink's legacy has been a source of inspiration.
I plan to use my knowledge and skills amassed abroad to help my community in any way I can.
After a few years of recreational running, my competitive bug is back and I am training for the Honolulu Marathon in December.

Hey Xtal! Hi neighbor....I better have a cup of water or gatorade when you pass by my apartment. I heard you were in Hawaii this semester. What are you up to besides training for the marathon?

Aloha Xtal,

Welcome to Mōʻiliʻili Matters and thanks for joining. I finally and formally met your dad last night at the candidate forum. It was great meeting him. He shared a little bit of information about you. I graduated from law school last year, (Richardson). I think itʻs great that youʻre coming back home and will be working here. There are several other young and recent law school graduates on here. Nathaniel is currently a city council candidate, Edward works with the Hawaiʻi Innocence Project, Brengyei works at Legal Aid Society of Hawaiʻi, Chris just graduated from law school, Jill also does public interest (domestic violence I believe). We all live in Moʻiliʻili.

Again welcome! Please let me know if I can help you with anything regarding the site.
